Account Deletion

To request the deletion of your TrailVision account, you can either initiate the process through our mobile application or by following the steps outlined below:

• In-App Deletion: Navigate to the account settings in the TrailVision app and select "Delete Account." Follow the prompts to confirm your request.
• By Email: Alternatively, you can email us at info@trailvision.com.au with the following information:
  • Your account name
  • Your organisation name
  • The email address associated with your account
• If the provided email address matches our records, we will send you a confirmation email to verify your intent to delete your account.
• Upon receiving your confirmation, we will proceed to purge your personal/account data from our system within 30 days. Any related data, such as Trail Activities or location data, will be scrubbed of identifiers linking back to your account or personal information.
• Finally, we will send you an email confirming the successful deletion of your account.

Data Deletion

If you wish to delete specific data (e.g., photos, trail records) without deleting your account, you can do so via our mobile application or by following the steps below:

• In-App Deletion: Access the specific data (e.g., photos, trail records) you wish to delete through the TrailVision app and select the "Delete" option. Follow the prompts to confirm your request.
• By Email: Alternatively, you can email us at info@trailvision.com.au specifying:
  • The data you wish to have deleted (e.g., specific photos, trail records)
  • Your account name
  • Your organisation name
  • The email address associated with your account
• We will review your request and, if the email address provided matches our records, send you a confirmation email to verify your intent to delete the specified data.
• Upon receiving your confirmation, we will delete the specified data from our system within 30 days and scrub any identifiers linking it to your account or personal information.
• We will then send you an email to confirm the successful deletion of your specified data.

Please note that some data may be retained for legal reasons or as required by law. If retention is necessary, we will inform you about what data is being retained and why.
